Grindelwald celebrates the Eiger Ultra-Trail®, the first ultra endurance race in the Bernese Oberland. The itinerary winds through Grosse Scheidegg, the Faulhorn Mountain Guest House, Schynige Platte, Wengen, Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg and crosses the base of the Eiger North Face;not only is it a spectacular race but also a fantastic and unforgettable alpine experience.
The E101 race - 101 kilometers and 6700 meters elevation gain - is a challenge to all competitors. To make this event even more appealing, the Mountain Prize is be awarded to the first competitor to reach Faulhorn at 2680m.
